The greatest reward for us is the enthusiasm and appreciation of our guests. Yet sometimes, design itself is honored – through an award that resonates far beyond Austria.
For Refugium Lunz, M&G – Mayr & Glatzl received the German Design Award in the categories Excellent Architecture and Interior Architecture. A wonderful acknowledgement of the fusion of architecture, interior design, and craftsmanship – realized with the support of the partners from FORMDEPOT, the platform for design, architecture, and craft founded by M&G in 2015.
Refugium Lunz is their personal passion project – a place where past and present, region and design, craft and atmosphere come together. The award confirms what can be felt here every day: that true excellence arises when passion, precision, and collaboration unite.
